REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
The following are examples of services previously provided (results may vary), but this is not an exhaustive list of prior representation:
  • Represented and obtained injunctive relief for a Fortune 500 company in a dispute with a serial typosquatter when the typosquatter filed suit in federal court under the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act after losing at the UDRP proceeding.

  • Represented professional fishing event organizer and drafted waivers for events such as participant agreements and waiver of likeness.

  • Drafted cease and desist letters for athletes seeking to protect their intellectual property holdings and rights of publicity.

  • Defended and represented an apparel manufacturer in a matter brought against the company by a professional athlete arguing that his right of publicity had been violated including such representation in ICANN proceedings.

  • Represented a high school football recruiting service with a regional television show and drafted waivers of likeness and filed and protected its intellectual property holdings through cease and desist communications.

  • Represented an international jewelry manufacturer in a copyright infringement action against a national retailer that resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement.

  • Represented comedians in copyright proceedings brought under the Copyright Act and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act relating to comedy material that was inappropriately used and sold by a third-party for profit.
