SARAH PACK'S EXPERIENCE
A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Law and New York University, Sarah Pack is a respected legal professional with a distinguished academic background and a deep commitment to serving the legal needs of community-impact organizations. In her former role, she served nonprofit clients for nearly a decade at a Plano, Texas boutique firm, providing general counsel advice and guidance and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations across the board so these organizations could focus on fulfilling their charitable purposes. She has represented hundreds of nonprofits from all over the country and internationally, advising them on a variety of legal issues such as employment law, commercial transactions, risk management, compliance, corporate formations and governance, tax exemptions, and litigation.
Sarah is particularly adept at research and writing and presenting complex information to clients in a manner that is easy to understand for nonlegal audiences. She has written successfully argued appellate and amicus briefs and co-authored the article, One Nation, Two Teams: The U.S. Women’s National Team’s Fight for Equal Pay, which was published in the Northeastern University Law Review in 2021.
Sarah also has a strong record of human rights advocacy. Through a series of U.S. and international internship and fellowship roles during and immediately following law school, Sarah engaged with issues related to refugees and asylum seekers, immigrants and migrants, and other marginalized individuals, directly contributing to the welfare and legal protection of these vulnerable populations.
In 2019, Sarah decided to follow her passion for sports and pursue an MBA in Sport Entertainment Management at the University of North Texas. Through this program, Sarah was able to gain valuable insight into the business of sports through work she produced for industry clients, including the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and Angel City FC. Sarah applies this business framework to her legal analysis to provide strategic guidance that takes into account each client’s diverse business interests.
Sarah is also a member of the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Advisory Council, where she uses her legal and business experience to provide consulting on development and marketing programs to assist the organization to continue to achieve its mission of helping women now.
